Hooray!
Hooray! Steitler lost his first tooth today!
Maddie celebrated with him, which was very hard for her since she has not lost any teeth yet. We were very proud of her!
I did not run out the front door, throw up, or pass out, so I was proud of myself. :)

School Days
This Morning
Maddie was nervous because she did not know the class schedule, among other things. Steitler was anxious about eating lunch in the cafeteria, among other things. I was on edge knowing that I would have to leave the school building at some point, among other things.
There is a something-terrible feeling in my heart knowing I am rather directly responsible for the changes that put my children into distress. My heart also beats a tall- courageous thump thinking of children that adapt and cope. But today the something-terrible beats seem heavier and louder than the tall-courage beats.
Well, I dreamt I saw you walking
up a hillside in the snow
casting shadows on the winter sky
as you stood there counting crows
I will walk along these hillsides in the summer 'neath the sunshine I am feathered by the moonlight falling down on me
