Friday - Field Trip

Maddie's class went on a Field Trip to Sequim Bay at low tide. They were able to see all kinds of sea life that they had been studying at school.

Friday - Field Day

Wheelbarrow races Hula-hooping

I was working a station at Field Day so I asked my mom to follow Maddie around Field Day to keep an eye on her and take her picture for me.
When we got home, I said, "Maddie, how was your first Field Day?!"
"Well, it was fun, except Nana followed me around all day," she said.

Tuesday - Victoria, B.C.

The Plaster Man
This man was completely covered in white and standing frozen on a white box. The kids put a quarter in his bucket and he did a quick dance, shook their hands, and then went back to standing still. Maddie dropped her quarter and thinking he was a statue, jumped backwards when he started to dance. Steitler told me that the Plaster Man had REAL eyeballs.

We saw another submarine in the Strait. (Click to enlarge) We saw a bald eagle in the top of this tree.
Railroad Bridge Park
All day long this white fluffy stuff was floating through Sequim.
We finally found the source hanging in a tree at the park.
