A Day of Kays- Part 1

This afternoon, our friend, Ms. Kay (from church), took Steitler and I out to lunch. I am quite certain that we could have chatted all afternoon! Thanks! Ms. Kay!

Tonight...
Last week, Ms. Kay (from the old Uno's/now WV Bistro) called and asked if the kids and I would want to go on a picnic at the park before we left. We planned to meet at 5:30 tonight. I talked to Ms. Kay this afternoon and she said that she had taken care of supper- to just meet her at Ridenhour Park. The kids and I pulled in to the park and as I am parking I see someone waving from the picnic shelter. Instead of a quiet picnic, it was a Going-Away Party from all my friends at work! I was shocked- a complete and true surprise. Ms. Kay and Michelle had made tables of food and there were gifts, cards, and well-wishes. It was a fabulous night - perfect for a party.
