This May marks 10 years since my high school graduation. Rather than drown in denial, I thought I might share a few pictures and memories this month. That said, please keep in mind that if it was truly a fabulous high school memory, chances are that I:
A) Did not have a camera with me
B) Would never share that information in this forum
Atlanta in September with my friend, Mandy and her family - the Boehms
Background: Our parents have been friends since college and eat together every Friday night
Age: I am 15, Mandy is 16, Emilie is 12, Liz is 5, Jason is 18
Labor Day Weekend 1993: This weekend trip has forever become a holiday story between the Boehm family and our own. The car ride is about the only thing anyone remembers about this particular trip. On Friday afternoon, we all pile into a 1980-something station wagon. Here is the seating chart:
Front Seat: John(Mandy's dad), Liz, my Dad
Back Seat: Annette(Mandy's mom), Jason(Mandy's brother), my mom
Back-Back: Emilie, Mandy and me
I have very few memories of being in Atlanta- I think that perhaps the car ride was so traumatic that I repressed the actual visit. If the Back-Back had seemed squished on the way down, we had to accommodate several shopping bags on the way back. I am fairly certain that was the last year we went to Atlanta for Labor Day.

Did Elizabeth just happen to wear those overalls every time mom had a camera, or did she just wear them all the time?
