Submarine

If you click to enlarge these pictures, you can see rather grainy pictures of 1 of the 2 submarines we saw this morning! Thanks to a friendly tip this morning, we were able to see the first sub headed east. Then, after Maddie went to school, Steitler and I spied a second sub headed west! We drove down to the water to get a better look.

Saturday

Today Maddie and Steitler completed their Junior Park Ranger activities and participated in the Junior Park Ranger Day at the Olympic Park.

This is the microscope station where they discovered tiny sea life with a park ranger. During the scavenger hunt, they had to locate items around the visitor center.
They had to complete 6 activities in their ranger books. We took a hike on one of the trails and they had to locate 20 different items on the walk.
