At the dinner table...
e: I think the corn (in the garden) is taller than the kids.
S: YES it is! It's so big - I can't even walk down the aisles!
B: Rows, son, corn rows.
I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself to hold on to these moments as they pass *Counting Crows

Overheard
The kids and I were sitting in the car waiting for Ben to come out of the video store. A very pregnant lady walked by us.
Maddie asks, "Mom, how do you get pregnant anyway?"
Before I can say anything, she says, "I mean, you have 2 kids so I know that you must know how."

Linked Up
Sorry I have been slow in getting up vacation pictures! Blogger loads only 5 pictures at a time and slower than you can imagine, so I have linked pictures here of our Myrtle Beach trip. We had a lovely time. The kids LOVED playing in the ocean and I did not have to hold hands with them the entire time. We spent so much time in the water I still feel prunish.
Here are pictures from the rest of our SC trip. We enjoyed Clovelly's 8th birthday(flamingo!) party, a trip to the zoo, a wedding, hanging out with friends and family and just visiting around.
July pictures from the 1st to the 6th can be found here. We were excited to have holiday weekend visitors to our new home! Having family (fairly) close by is a nice perk to being back on the East Coast.
