Highlight
A few weeks ago, I told Em that it was rather dull around here. Not so much lonely as boring. I miss the hustle- bustle of Greenville and the small-town cozy-family- feel of Saint Albans. This funk I'm in can clearly be defined by the number of books read. There was a time, not too long ago, where I barely finished a magazine before the next month's issue arrived. Don't be alarmed, but I read 9 books in January. I also planned out our meals for 2 weeks straight and perfected baking whole wheat cherry bread. In this conversation, I mentioned that the highlight of my day is watching Reba reruns. Seriously, it may be the only adult conversation I have until dark. I truly appreciate Reba's sassy remarks, laughing at Van and Cheyenne, guessing who is watching the babies or better yet- where are they?!, and cringing at the realization that I might enjoy Barbara Jean's company - occasionally. Imagine my surprise to find this in a package on my doorstep today. A gift full of thought and full of heart.
